Sgrafitto on paper [sgrafitto was originally scratching onto plaster on walls to reveal the color underneath]. These pieces were done for an exhibition against human trafficking. I chose this technique feeling it was appropriate for the healing process can be slow and painstaking. The technique is laborious. The results are worth the effort. To heal, one most focus on the now, hence the tightrope walker  and the trapeze artist.
